How much can I expect my PageRank to improve?

Although every website is different. On average, we have seen websites with PageRanks of 1-2 progress to PageRanks of 4 within just a few months. Many of our clients have seen PageRanks improve to 5 or 6. Anything higher than that is not really necessary as Google reserves PageRanks over 6 to national websites that act as portals - like Yahoo.com, Ask.com or NYSE.com. For retail and other websites, a PageRank of 5-6 is the ultimate goal, bringing huge business your way.

What are the PageRanks of other sites in the Program?

Many webmasters are concerned that the partners linking to them will have a high enough PageRank.

What we do at eWayLinks is balance out the PageRank of websites linking to you. That way, you do not have to worry about who is linking to you. What about Industry Specific links?

In reciprocal linking programs, industry specific links matter more. But, as you know, reciprocal links are nowhere near as important as one-way links.

In short, Google will see hundreds of one-way links to your website and in a huge majority of cases, will credit these links much higher than links from reciprocal linking websites -- even if they're in the same industry. The fact is, one-way links work much better than anything else.

For instance, thousands of websites - that are not search engines - link to Yahoo. That helps Yahoo much more than if hundreds of other search engines link to Yahoo, with reciprocal links.
